We may update, modify or remove features, systems or policies at any time as the server evolves. Continued use of GoPlay means you accept the most recent version of these Terms.

By using GoPlay, you agree to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services.
Continued Use Equals Acceptance
By continuing to play, maintain an account or access GoPlay services (Minecraft, website or Discord), you agree to the most recent version of these Terms and Privacy Policy, including future updates.
Disclaimer
You are responsible for reviewing these Terms, the Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines. GoPlay may enforce moderation actions (warnings, mutes, bans, restrictions) at its discretion when rules are violated. Enforcement decisions are made to protect the community and server integrity.
Minimum Age Requirement
By using GoPlay, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old or have obtained parental or guardian consent where required. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If such data is identified, it will be removed where possible. Some roles, such as staff positions, have higher age requirements listed on WithUs.
Access to GoPlay
GoPlay is open to everyone on Java and Bedrock Edition. No request or waitlist is required to join.
GoPlay may limit, pause or change how players access the server at any time, including returning to a request, waitlist or invite-based model. Access to one iteration of GoPlay does not guarantee access to future iterations or resets unless we say otherwise.
Your Account and GoPlay Identity
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all actions taken under it, including actions taken by anyone else who accesses it. Impersonating staff or other players is not allowed.
Your GoPlay Identity links your Minecraft account, website account and support history. A verified Identity is required for appeals, applications and support submissions. Never share your /verify code. Identity resets are handled manually by staff and cannot be done by players.
Account deletion requests may take up to 30 days to complete and remove your website identity only.
Network Rules
To keep accounts verifiable and the network safe:
• Only genuine Minecraft accounts may join. Cracked accounts are not allowed
• VPNs, proxies and other tools that hide your network identity are blocked
• Up to 3 active players are allowed per IP address
• Logins from large or sudden region changes may be blocked until ownership is confirmed
Java and Bedrock Account Linking
Players may optionally link a Java and Bedrock account using /linkaccount so progress follows them across editions. By linking accounts, you understand that:
• The account you run /linkaccount on is the one that keeps its progress
• GoPlay cannot undo or restore inventories lost through linking
• Unlinking must be requested from staff through Contact us and may not always be possible
• Linked accounts are treated as one player for moderation purposes
Use of Services
When using GoPlay, you agree to:
• Use services for personal, non-commercial purposes (content creation is allowed)
• Follow applicable laws and avoid harmful or exploitative behavior
• Not share, sell or transfer accounts
• Avoid automation, macros or unfair advantages
• Maintain respectful communication across all platforms
We encourage constructive feedback when shared appropriately.
Modifications and Plugin Behavior
GoPlay uses custom and third-party systems. We are not responsible for bugs, resets, downtime or data loss caused by updates, plugins or external services. Game mechanics, features and progression may change, reset or be removed at any time for balance, maintenance or technical reasons.
Prohibited Conduct
The following (not limited to) may result in moderation actions including warnings, mutes or bans:
• Griefing, theft or sabotage
• Hacked clients, macros or exploit abuse
• Ban or mute evasion (including alternate accounts or linked accounts)
• Harassment, hate speech or targeted abuse
• Spamming or distributing malicious content
• Sharing other players’ personal information or threatening network security
• Disrupting community stability or encouraging rule violations
Staff may interpret and enforce these rules to maintain fairness and safety across all GoPlay platforms.
Strikes and Enforcement
GoPlay uses a strike system for bans and mutes. Strikes are issued to your IP address and escalate with each offense.
There are two violation types:
• Terms of Service covers community and in-game rule breaches
• Privacy Policy covers data misuse, sharing personal information or threats to network security, and carries stricter appeal limits
Strikes 1–3 stay on record for 365 days. Strikes 4 and above stay on record permanently. Published strike charts are general guidelines. Staff may adjust durations or take case-by-case action based on context, history or severity. Some violations may result in a permanent ban on a first offense.
Appeals
Appeals must be submitted through goplaymc.net/contact with a verified GoPlay Identity. Appeals sent through Discord are not accepted.
• One appeal may be submitted every 14 days
• Appeals must be submitted within 11 months of the punishment
• Nobody else may appeal on your behalf
• Higher-level strikes and severe violations may not be eligible for appeal
• Logs used in a decision are reviewed privately and are not shared with players
Appeal outcomes are final.
Monitoring and Data Notice
Gameplay and communications may be monitored for moderation, security and support purposes. Refer to our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
Security and Exploit Disclosure
Security issues and bugs should be reported privately via Contact us. Public exploitation, abuse of bugs or sharing vulnerabilities is strictly prohibited.
Player Chat and Content
GoPlay moderates chat and user content to maintain a safe environment but cannot guarantee all content will always be appropriate. Player-generated content reflects individual users and not GoPlay. Players should report violations for Terms of service when they occur.
Profiles and Community Posts
Your GoPlay profile displays your profile ID, in-game stats, account standing, friends and posts. Posts and profile customizations, including profile music, must follow Terms of service. GoPlay may edit, hide or remove profile content that breaks our rules and may restrict profile features for violations.
Feature Availability
Features may be temporarily or permanently changed, disabled or removed due to maintenance, updates or third-party service disruptions. GoPlay is not responsible for loss of access or progression.
Optional web experiences, including Satellites, Minis and AFKs, are provided for community engagement. GoPlay may modify, restrict, suspend or discontinue any service at any time without notice or obligation.
Automated Moderation
Automated systems may assist in detecting rule violations, but final enforcement decisions are reviewed by staff when applicable.
Staff Applications
Staff applications are accepted only through WithUs and require a registered, verified GoPlay account linked to your Minecraft account. Applications sent through Discord or any other channel are not accepted. Your moderation history, login patterns and activity may be reviewed as part of the process. Rejected applications cannot be appealed but you may reapply in the future.
Content and Intellectual Property
All GoPlay branding, content, builds and systems are owned by GoPlay or its licensors. You may not copy, redistribute or use these materials without permission. GoPlay is not affiliated with or endorsed by Mojang or Microsoft.
Media and Submissions
By submitting content (screenshots, builds, artwork, media or uploads via Discord, website or events), you grant GoPlay a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display and promote that content in connection with GoPlay services. You retain ownership and may request removal via Contact us.
Events and Community Activities
Events may be modified, delayed or cancelled at any time due to technical, safety or operational reasons. Participation may require additional rules. Staff and organizers retain final authority over event decisions.
Third-Party Services
GoPlay integrates with third-party services (such as Discord and Tebex). These services operate under their own terms and policies. GoPlay is not responsible for their availability or actions.
In-Game Purchases and Memberships
All purchases are final unless required by law. Payments are processed securely via Tebex Ltd. (tebex.io) under their Terms and Privacy Policy.
Memberships provide perks only. They do not guarantee access to GoPlay, reserve a spot if access is limited in the future or protect an account from moderation actions.
Cross-Play and Bedrock Support
GoPlay supports Java and Bedrock Edition players. Bedrock support may differ from Java Edition, may lag behind new Minecraft releases and can change or be discontinued at any time. Players should not update their Minecraft client until GoPlay confirms support for that version.
Termination
Accounts may be restricted or terminated for violations of these Terms of service or Privacy policy. Severe violations may result in permanent bans without prior notice. Appeal outcomes are final.
Liability
GoPlay is provided “as is.” We are not responsible for losses, downtime, data loss or issues caused by third-party services or external systems to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed under applicable United States law. Any disputes will be handled in the appropriate jurisdiction where legally required.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of GoPlay means you accept the updated Terms.
